This experience will be offered by reconstructing the material culture
of those early days. All the facilities and structures, the fences and
terraces will be built from the material found at the site:
- Reconstruction of ancient agricultural plots
- Building and reconstruction of terraces to work the land
- Cultivation of the old Carob trees still growing in the valley
- Partitioning off a nursery area to grow aromatic and seasoning herbs
- Oil production
- Reconstruction of wine presses
- Reconstruction of watchman posts
- Clarification of the biblical terms “edge of the field”, “field measure”, weights and Measures: seah , sheaf and cubit”, “seah house”, and more
- Domestic tools and war weapons
- Food and its preservation in those days.
- Along the walks, visitors will get professional explanations and sample a range of experiences.
