The Bible Valley is a project for an educational, historical and tourist
experience:
- An educational experience for children, youth and adults, will come from
sampling the ancient way of life through various archeological sites, walking routes,
and the historical tale.
- The Bible Forest, showing the world of nature, the flora and trees mentioned in
the Bible and ecology in ancient days, will provide a special experience.
Parts of the forest will grow trees and vegetation typical of Biblical times.
- Interactive displays will be at the disposal of students, parents and tourists.
- Parts of the Bible Valley will present various biblical subjects and legends.
- Other parts of the valley will be dedicated to the theme “Land of
Milk and Honey and Wine, Figs and Pomegranates; the Land of Olive Oil and
Honey.”
Yet another part will be devoted to domestic and agricultural livestock in biblical
times.
- Educational material for schools
Educational study programs and an experience kit for the Bible Valley will serve the
visitors in order to enable students to absorb the overall atmosphere of the period.
Schools from Israel and other countries will be incorporated in the project in the long term – in planting trees, setting up, developing and maintaining educational areas or topics and learning about biblical topics.
- Visitors center
The entrance to the Bible Valley will be through a visitors center, which will be
comprised of a presentation of buildings and installations:
Changing exhibitions based on topics and countries that participated in the Children
of the World Illustrate the Bible competition, and from other educational institutions,
Multimedia displays on biblical and historical topics Musical displays on biblical
themes and personalities.
The visitors center and other sites in the Bible Valley will hold special events,
festivals, school competitions on biblical shows, competitions and quizzes of every
imaginable kind.
- Visitors will pass from the visitors center to the demonstration compound,
where they will sample typical findings from the culture and civilization of the
biblical period, a sort of time-machine tunnel:
A biblical market
Ancient forms of residential buildings
Matching approach paths
Town circle, town gate, guard house, etc.
Forms of transport in ancient times
Work tools and war weapons.
Sculptures’ garden.
