From Bible Forest to Bible Valley E-mail
At the closing ceremony in Jerusalem in December 1999, attended by the
children who painted the top drawings in each country, a National Fund,
one of the partners in organizing the competition, laid the cornerstone
for the Bible Forest for the competition winners.
At this point, Mallmedia Publishing House has begun to plan and erect
the Bible Forest.
In the initial stages of the venture’s formation and program planning,
it became clear that in order to fulfill the vision of erecting a site
to experience the biblical world, the forest, covering 6,000 dunam
(1,500 acres) could only be one of the components. Thus, the project
has extended from the Bible Forest to the Bible Valley, encompassing
some 100,000 dunam (25,000 acres).
